WEBINAR: Decoding NAEP: The Perspectives of State Chiefs

Continuing with the Decoding NAEP series, the Campaign for Grade Level Reading will sit down with Chief State School Officers who will share their reactions and reflections about student progress in their states and their plans for the future. The 2024 NAEP results were deeply disappointing, but NAEP is also only one benchmark. States have other assessments and methods for measuring achievement and these may reveal pockets of progress that the NAEP data samples miss. The panel will explore where they are seeing progress, what strategies they think are driving that progress and their projected plans for continuing to work to accelerate learning and narrow opportunity gaps.
