Michelle Weise, the former chief innovation officer of Strada Education Network’s Institute for the Future of Work, talks to Future U podcast hosts Jeff Selingo and Michael B. Horn about her new book, Long Life Learning: Preparing for Jobs that Don’t Even Exist Yet. Weise emphasizes why creating a new learning ecosystem for what’s ahead is so critical for all of us.
“How do we bring together better career navigation services, guidance, human touchpoints, wraparound support services—how do we also make learners and workers aware of the fact that there are these kinds of really interesting precise educational opportunities?” Weise asks. “You don’t always have to go for a four-year bachelor’s degree or a one-year certificate.”
