Andrew Buher

Andrew Buher is founder and managing director of Opportunity Labs, a consulting and product design firm.  He was appointed by President Obama to serve as a White House fellow at the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. Prior to his work at HUD, Andrew was the chief operating 0fficer of the New York City Department of Education and formerly chief of staff to Chancellor Dennis Walcott. Andrew is a Forbes 30 under 30 honoree, French American Foundation Young Leader, Atlantic Council Millennium Fellow, and an Education Pioneer. Andrew serves on the board of The Equity Project (TEP) Charter School and ClimbHire. He received an MPA from Columbia University and a BA from Rider University.
