Ashley Jochim

Ashley Jochim is an independent education researcher and consulting principal at the Center on Reinventing Public Education. Her research considers the design and implementation of education policies and programs at every level of the K-12 system and in the public, charter and private schooling sectors. She is co-author of A Democratic Constitution for K-12 Education and the forthcoming Making Politics Work: Practical Lessons on Politics for Would-Be Education Reformers. Ashley spent a decade as a senior research analyst and a principal at the Center on Reinventing Public Education and she served as a research analyst at the University of Washington’s Center for American Politics and Public Policy and at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services’ Office of Civil Rights. She holds a doctorate in political science from the University of Washington.
