Bob Wise is the former president of the Alliance for Excellent Education, a Washington, DC–based education policy organization. He is author of Raising the Grade: How High School Reform Can Save Our Youth and Our Nation. Wise is a former governor of West Virginia and he represented the state in the U.S. Congress for 18 years. He is a graduate of Duke University and Tulane University Law School.
