FutureEd Senior Fellow Craig Wacker is an education consultant studying aspects of social emotional learning. He has extensive experience in philanthropy—working for the Raikes Foundation, the MacArthur Foundation and the Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching. He has also served as a program examiner in the Education Branch of the White House Office of Management and Budget (OMB) and a Congressional Fellow on the late Sen. Edward Kennedy’s staff.
Wacker has a bachelor’s degree from Grinnell College, and a master’s degree from the Lyndon B. Johnson School of Public Affairs of the University of Texas at Austin.
