Ramin Taheri

Ramin Taheri is CEO for Magnet Schools of America, a national nonprofit professional education association whose members are schools and school districts. He was formerly chief of staff for the U.S. Education Department’s Office for Civil Rights and director of advocacy and policy at Chiefs for Change. Prior to joining CFC, Taheri served as director of policy and partnerships in the Office of the Deputy Mayor for Education in Washington, DC, where he worked on policy issues and strategic initiatives related to charter-district collaboration, school choice, resource equity, and postsecondary and workforce development.
