Sabrina Wesley-Nero is an associate teaching professor at Georgetown University. At Georgetown, Sabrina is the director of the undergraduate Program in Education, Inquiry, and Justice and the assistant director of the graduate program in Educational Transformation, which houses the university’s first U.S. teacher certification program. Sabrina’s courses and research focus on the intersection of education and equity. In that work, Sabrina examines the experiences of students who have historically been marginalized as a result of their racial, socioeconomic, cultural, and linguistic identities; the teachers who serve them; and the educational contexts where these students thrive.
